Back in March, a fan tweeted deadmau5 a link with his own vocals dropped on one of mau5's new tunes. That fan is now known by the world as Chris James - The vocalist on the smash hit 'The Veldt’ by deadmau5.

At the beginning of September aspiring DJ & producer David A. uploaded the video ‘Skrillehammer’ to youtube. The relevance to Skrillex is that David A. chopped up a bunch of Skrillex vocals from the Lillehammer 2012 teaser video on youtube, and incorporated them into his track.

This morning Skrillex re-posted the ’Skrillehammer’ video to his facebook page commenting; "HAHAHA this is why it should be illegal for me to rap ...but this guy actually made a SOLID track!”
